[simple, beautiful things]

Sometimes I wonder if I’m a cowgirl at heart because I just love living in the country. And ok, so maybe I’m not a real cowgirl, but I never thought I’d return to rural living after I grew up; yet here I am loving the clean air and quiet peacefulness that comes with living in the boonies. LOL.

Here’s an example of one thing I love about living in the country. When I run out of eggs I send my daughter over to the next door neighbors who have chickens and for a mere $0.75 I get fresh, organic eggs. Mmmmm.

But you can’t imagine my delight when I opened the container to see these beautiful brown speckled and pale green wonders. Are they so pretty?!

They remind me of something you’d see in a Martha Stewart magazine.

Melanie - These are beautiful, Shay!

Bev - Thanks for reminding us of the simple things in life! These are beautiful.

Amanda (Shamelessly Sassy) - I love the photos. They should definitely be in a magazine!

Jennifer - sometimes the simplest things are the best in life and photography~

Joanna - I love these:) And these pics should be IN a Martha Stewart mag! My little guy is always asking for “brown eggs” — alas, we get ours at Costco ;)

Alette - Oh how I would love to live in the country. Ofcourse we would have some chicken, and a little goat. And maybe some geese. Oh and our dogs and cat ofcourse. Yeah I would love to live in the country.
Yummie eggs :)
