[ding ding - we have a winner]

You guessed it – we went to Germany and Austria! Ok, ok, the person who guessed correctly ‘cheated’ a little because she really knew where we’d been when she posted. Hehehe…:)

Anyhow, here are a few more pics:

I seem to have a small obsession with spiral staircases too:)

admin - Hi Alette – yes! the first pic is Neuschwanstein castle! =] The first set of spiral stairs is taken there as well (the exit stairs as no photography was allowed inside) but the second set of stairs is from the castle in Heidelberg. =]
What part of the Netherlands are you from? I have been to Amsterdam — loved it there too!

Alette - Hi Shay,

I was just surfing the web and came across your site through Teri Fode’s blog. When I saw these photos I just had to know. Is this Neuschwanstein perhaps? It looks so farmiliar, I visited that castle when I was little and it was the castle where Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was recorded.
Anyway love your photos.

Cliff - Shay,

Next time you will have to go to Copenhagen ~ you will have a wonderful time photographing old world architecture and scenery! It is far more charming than Amsterdam or any other Northern European city.

Jennifer - OMG you are so lucky, I want to go to Germany so bad, thats where some of my family lives, and I’ve always wanted to go there to see the country and to see those family members. These are absolutely beautiful Shay, love it!

Heather - These are awesome! Locations in OLD countries are so interesting. I hope you had fun! That 2nd picture looks like it would be such a fun and colorful place for a real-life person session!:)

Joanna - Beautiful Shay!!! I love these…my little boy and I were watching a program on PBS about Austria and we decided we definately need to go. Jason loves Germany and Austria and I don’t think it’ll take too much arm twisting;)
